Preamble¶
The present order rewards endless accumulation on a finite Earth. Across centuries, great fortunes were built not only by work but also by war, land seizure, forced labour, monopoly, deception and proximity to power. Passed to descendants, those assets allow a small number of families to control resources, information and millions of lives. Continuing this logic deepens inequality, conflict and destruction of life’s natural foundation. We propose ending inherited economic power and declare life — people, society and Earth — the shared side.
One human system¶
War, climate damage, epidemics and the destruction of trust do not remain inside a border. Harm to one part of an interconnected world returns to all. Security that requires the permanent fear and humiliation of others cannot be sustainable.
Dignity without exceptions¶
Citizenship, origin, faith and wealth do not make a human life less valuable. Institutions exist for people, not people for institutions. No common purpose justifies torture, disappearance, collective punishment or reducing a person to a resource.
Unity without uniformity¶
A shared civilization needs neither one culture nor one opinion. Languages, traditions, faith, criticism and local self-government remain. Unity begins where difference no longer permits anyone to strip another person of safety, voice or future.
An equal start and a free life¶
Until 18, a child is included in the family’s basic package, which grows with each child. At 18, each person receives an individual package: protected housing, healthcare, education and starter resources for study or work. After that, people may work, earn, build businesses and live more richly than others. Parents pass on care, upbringing and knowledge, but not a property advantage.
Power, property, money and Earth¶
Office, money, real estate, land, shares and businesses are not inherited. After a sole owner dies, assets return to society; marital assets do so after the surviving spouse dies, so that spouse keeps a home and means of living. A person may freely use what they earn during life but may not appoint their children as the next generation’s economic rulers.
People and artificial intelligence¶
AI may help verify facts, compare consequences and reveal interests excluded from debate. It receives no sovereign authority. Several independent systems, open reasoning, recorded dissent, appeal and human responsibility are mandatory.
Peaceful transition¶
MATERRA rejects violence, secret seizure of power and promises of instant perfect order. New rules must be debated openly, tested voluntarily, introduced gradually and reversed when they cause harm. Failure is not hidden, and criticism is not treason.
Open co-authorship¶
MATERRA belongs to no leader, party, state, corporation or AI model. Documents keep versions and sources, money is publicly accounted for, and support buys no vote. Participants are not followers but co-authors free to improve, challenge and leave the project.
